Starting in Mobile Esports: Amateur Teams and Scrims

Most mobile pros began in amateur scrims with consistent schedules and VOD review—not overnight viral clips.

Build a portfolio

Record ranked highlights with comms audio. Show decision-making, not only aim.

Find teams ethically

Use official Discord communities and league open qualifiers. Avoid pay-to-join “pro” teams with no track record.

Scrims etiquette

Be on time, run agreed rulesets, and review losses calmly. Reputation travels in small scenes.

Health and eligibility

Read age rules for tournaments. Sleep and school still matter for long careers.
